We continuously strive to improve our services and exceed expectations. Our commitment to excellence means always looking for better ways to support our participants.

Our Philosophy

At Able Care, we believe that every person has the right to live a meaningful, fulfilling life with dignity and independence. Our approach is rooted in the understanding that disability is a natural part of human diversity, and that with the right support, everyone can achieve their goals and contribute to their community.

We practice a person-centered approach, which means that you are at the heart of everything we do. Your goals, preferences, and choices guide our support planning and delivery. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions – instead, we work collaboratively with you to develop support strategies that align with your unique needs and aspirations.

Our team is committed to building genuine relationships with participants and their families. We see ourselves as partners in your journey, providing not just practical support but also encouragement, advocacy, and empowerment. We celebrate your achievements, support you through challenges, and continuously adapt our services to meet your evolving needs.

What We Don't Offer

Transparency about our scope of services helps you make informed decisions about your support needs.

Clinical and Medical Services

As an unregistered NDIS provider focusing on support services, we do not provide clinical or medical interventions. This includes:

  • Clinical therapy services (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology)
  • Medical diagnosis or treatment
  • High-intensity daily personal activities requiring qualified health practitioners
  • Specialist disability accommodation (SDA)

Registered Provider Services

As an unregistered provider, we cannot offer services that require NDIS registration. This means we don't work with:

  • NDIA-managed participants (only plan managed and self managed)
  • Services requiring registered provider status
  • Plan management services
  • Support coordination (we can work with your coordinator)

What We Do Offer

We specialize in high-quality support worker delivered services that enhance independence and community participation. If you need clinical services, we can help connect you with appropriate registered providers while continuing to provide your daily support needs.

Funding We Accept

We work with plan managed and self managed NDIS participants. Here's how our funding arrangements work.

Plan Managed Participants

If you have a plan manager, we work directly with them for payment processing. This provides you with:

  • Direct invoicing to your plan manager
  • No out-of-pocket expenses for you
  • Professional financial management
  • NDIS price guide compliance

Self Managed Participants

If you self manage your NDIS plan, you have direct control over your funding with:

  • Direct payment to our services
  • Detailed invoices for NDIS claims
  • Flexible service arrangements
  • Full choice and control over providers

We Cannot Work With

NDIA-Managed Participants

As an unregistered provider, we cannot provide services to participants whose plans are fully managed by the NDIA. You would need a registered provider for this arrangement.

Alternative Funding

We currently only accept NDIS funding. We do not provide services through Medicare, private health insurance, or other funding sources outside the NDIS.
